Here is a new snowflake from the most recent storm. I sure wish it wasn't so dry. I only had about an hour of shooting before the snowflakes weren't recognizable. I took John's advice and tried a better background. This is a 12 shot stack.

Sean, sorry it took me so long to respond. Missed the question. Since I'm lazy, I'm going to just post a link to the write up I put on my blog. If you want to go there it gives what I do. Pretty simple. I held this weed in my hand and then shot the photos.

It has been a while since I have posted a Macro shot. So here is one from this weekend - Baby Robins. I wish I would have gotten the slit in the eye in better focus, but I just snapped a few shots and got away.
