    The Photography Institue (www.thephotographyinstitute.ca)

    Hello,

Just looking to see if anyone here has any experience with this "school". The course outline seems fairly thorough andI have heard they do offer fairly good support considering it's all remote.

If you had any other recommendations - much appreciated.

I haven't heard of this particular course, but it does seem rather pricey. From the course outline, the sections on becoming a professional seem to be directed towards how to sell your photos. In my mind, making a living by selling pictures is a dicey proposition at best, unless perhaps you want to be a wedding or portrait photographer. The nature and wildlife professionals that I know of tend to make their living more by giving workshops, seminars, and courses, and by publishing books. I'd be interested to hear other people's views on that. If you're looking for decent instruction in general photography, or nature/wildlife photography, have a look at Darwin Wiggett's offerings: darwinwiggett.wordpress.com
