Will be done by mid day friday this week and have the late red eye out of LAX.

Suggestions as to what/where to spend some quality time w/ the camera?

I have a project south of LAX. I've been out a couple times with my camera with some time in the evening. I've typically headed to the beaches (Redondo, Manhattan, and Hermosa) to shoot surfers, sunsets, etc. Each pier has some nice restuarants as well. Given Woodland Hills loction, I'd be tempted by Rt 27 to Malibu, then shots of Malibu beach and finishing off with the Santa Monica pier. Get there around sunset and should be able to get some great shots of the Ferris Wheel at the Santa Monica pier.
