    300mm f4 L question

Ok, I see on Bryan's review he states that this lens has a Ring type USM. However, when I was looking at the lens on Amazon, it states it is the Micro USM. I tried looking on the canon site, but it doesn't really state they type of USM that the lens has. So I guess the question which type of focusing mechanism does it have?

    Appreciate anyone's input.

    Thanks,

The IS version is ring, maybe the non-IS isn't. I would trust Bryan over Amazon any day.

Amazon is wrong. Both the EF 300mm f/4L IS USM and it's non-IS predecessor have true ring USM motors.

Thanks guys, I thought that was the case. I figured Bryan knew what he was talking about, but was just making sure all was well.
