    Notre Dame Grotto Shots



    Still getting used to my Rebel XS. Had a kit lens, but bought the 50mm f/1.4...how do these look for a beginner?

    They look great! The background blur on the last one is very nice, and I like how you used the thin DOF on the second image. The first shot, though, is no good at all, IMHO.

    I completely agree the first one was no good. I actually shot that with a 21-month old hanging off of my arm. []

    I agree with Daniel. The 2nd and 3rd shots were great. They can't all be winners!
