Mother's Day is around the corner so I needed to grab a shot of the little ones for a card or two.

Good fortune was with me Easter morning as I just dropped off family at the airport at 0415 am, so it was a rush up a volcano to catch sunrise atop Haleakela on Maui's summit. I could hardly believe my eyes as the first light on the distant horizon was sandwiched between two layers of clouds. I am sure that all several hundred onlookers that morning will remember what they did on the morning of Easter, 2014.
