2017 - Image of the Week #41

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images to compete for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly and finally in an annual poll for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."

• There will be only one weekly winner.
• This entry period for Week 41 will be from Monday October 2nd through/including Sunday October 8th.
• Please supply a title for your image.
• This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro and any other appropriate photographic style.
• Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
• Enter as many times as you would like.

This week will be judged by cls.

To begin with I just thought I’d clarify that my selection of this week’s winner is made on a strictly subjective basis – I simply selected the photo I find most aesthetically appealing. (I’m sure one could analyze why I think what I think, but I haven’t done that…)

And the winner is…Jayson’s butterfly. That’s a beautiful photo that caught my eye each of the (several) times I checked this thread over the day.

And to the rest of you: Good job! Your contributions are also potential winners, but in my opinion they end up in second place this week.
