What's gonna happen to the 400 f/5.6?

Oh. I loved that lens. I was borrowing it from lensrentals whenever I could, along with the 100 macro.


I do wildlife photography, birds and macro, but couldn't afford both a bird and macro lens. I rented the 300 and loved it, so I bought one!


The 400 f/5.6 was also great, in case there was any doubt.

You're going to love that combination. I had a 300 F4L IS and a 1.4x Extender but wanted the new AF system and fps for the 7D. I picked up mine several weeks back and it's great for birds. Ho! Ho! Ho! and Merry Christmas for your decision.
