It's all in the focal length
<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;" class="MsoNormal"]<span style="font-size: small;"]<span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"]Big thanks to all for your help with my clarity on portrait issues. With your help and a few spare hours I am making head way.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"] Special thanks to Bob, Al, peety3 and powers_brent, I guess there is an easier way to say thanks but I am a bit of a novice at this.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"] I did a type o with my lens also, I have an 18 – 200mm lens and have found clarity between 50 – 90mm for my portrait shots, shutter at 1/200 plus, F/8 and ISO up to 400 (pre noise), with the IS off on the tripod.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"] Anything outside of this looks pretty second rate.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"] Just wanted to say thanks for the help.<o></o>
