Re: Metallic Printing
Its just my assumption but what I think was being mentioned was printing on metallic paper which is not a whole lot more expensive then standard paper. All my printing is done an MPix and they offer a metallic paper which is crazy awesome. I shot some pics from an NCAA Basketball tournament and printed them on metallic paper and my mind was blown once I saw them. They appeared to have a 3-D quality to them which was good because I charged this well to do guy $200 x 3 pictures. When your pictures look as good as those did you the photographer feel better about charging what you can.
The metallic paper printing option looks good with certain types of pictures so you will just have to be the judge of that yourself after you do some ordering.
This may be the wrong response and if it is just ignore. You might just be trying to mention the HD imaging on aluminum which I've never seen before. Anyways the metallic paper is a cool option when used right.

Re: Metallic Printing
I have used Bay Photo to print onto metal (as opposed to metallic paper) and love it. But it is not for every type of picture, and you need to experiment. I recommend choosing a photo and taking advantage of Bay Photo
