Lens was dropped once, I had the aperture assembly replaced at a local repair shop, haven't had any problems since. It does stick a bit if you're manually focusing, but odds you aren't manually focusing, especially with the size of the focus ring [] The only reason I'm selling is because I recently upgraded to the 1.4 model.
