Twitchers needed for PNG and Galapagos Bird IDs

Now as I have stated many times I'm a nerd, which means that I like things to be catalogued. After much searching I'm still not sure what some of the birds I photographed on my trips are.

So if their are any twitchers out their that would care to help out, just let me know the image number or sequence number and bird name.

That's a great collection you have there, Tony. I can help you with many of the birds in your Galapagos collection:

1,18	Yellow Warbler
2,78	Striated Heron
3,4,14	Brown Pelican
8-13	Swallow Tailed Gull
58	American Oystercatcher
60	Flightless Cormorant
67-69	Galapagos Flycatcher
74,76	Whimbrel
90,91	Mockingbird*
92	Red Footed Booby

* The exact species of mockingbird will depend on the island on which you saw it.

When I have some more time, I'll come back and try to identify the finches for you. I'll need my book for that.

When it comes to bird identification an experienced eye is far better than Wikipedia. The shots of the Mockingbird were taken on San Cristobal Island if that helps.

PS: The best bird photo I have every taken is 68 "The Galapagos Flycatcher". Its embarrassing when you don't know what its called. The light was perfect, the background was perfect, the bird behaved and I didn't stuff-up the shot.... amazing!
