Hi guys,

I was trolling ebay for a cheap BG-E2 battery grip for my 40D and I stumbled across this neat looking bit of gear. It's a battery grip with a built in LCD screen and timer that allows you to set the time for one exposure or cycle exposures (would be great for star trails). Just wondering if anybody has encountered or used something similar. The kit's only $140 Australianand comes with a remote release (already have one of those) and 2 spare batteries.

I assume it doesn't have the same weather sealing properties of the genuine Canon BG-E2 but at the end of the day I don't plan on using my camera in the rain or under rediculously harsh conditions. Any thoughts??? See the url below.

Thanks in advance, Ben.
