    Price hike on the 40D



    Hi,


    I noticed that the 40D has jumped to $900 on amazon. The difference between it and the 50D is "only" $170. Is Canon trying to tell us something? []

    You still have another 10 days to go with the LENS rebate, it ends on January 17, 2009. There will be a $50 instant rebate on the 40D and $100 on the 50D starting on January 17, 2009.

    It's still $800 at B&H, and I believe it will stay like that until the 17th this month.
