RAW to JPEG
Hello everybody,
after five years of shooting JPEG I have switched to shooting RAWfew months ago. For processing I use DPP. It interests me how many DPI and what image quality (Exif-JPEG) is enough for 9x12 cmprints and 800x600 LCD projection?

Re: RAW to JPEG
HiVanja,
I would recommend the highest quality JPEG setting - that determines how much the image is compressed, and more compression equals lower quality and more jpeg artifacts, regardless of the resolution.
The resolution depends entirely on output. For the LCD projection, you need only 800x600 pixels if you have an 800x600 projector, and DPI is irrelevant for that application. For your 9x12 prints, what is the resolution of your printer? To be honest, you could also just output the full resolution as a JPG file - the printer driver will downsample the image as necessary.
