White Sands; yeah, we plan on arriving mid afternoon to explore and get ready for sunset and then get up for sunrise the next day. We're going to go for the early morning pass (before 7am opening) for the sunrise shoot.


Sandia Peaks; my cousin (su casa, mi casa) lives near the base on the ABQ side...not too far from the tram. BTW...unfortunately he's a Nikonian and the black lamb of the family. [:$]


We're not going to do much driving this year (we drove to Monument Valley last year), just the over night trip to White Sands and 2 nights in Taos....so any and all suggestions for the Taos area would be great.


I won't mention the bears; my wife doesn't trust me around them after an experience in Montana at Jewel Basin during huckleberry season, but I digress.


My wife and Ican't wait to have to make the decision; green chiles or red?
