Looking to possibly purchase a new, or even a slightly used Nikon 14-24 2.8, and was wondering if anybody knows how Nikon dates their lenses, if at all. I know the 14-24 2.8 has only been out for, I think, 2 years, so there can't be too many problems.


I am going to get the 16-9.com Nikon G adapter, for use on both my 5Dll and 1DIV. My 16-35ll is great, although I rarely use it on the 5Dll, but....I recently rented a Tokina 12-24 f4, just to see how it works for an UWA on my 1DIV, and even though it wasn't usable until about 14 or 15mm, it still worked...and it was, seriously, almost as good(especially in the corners) than my 16-35ll when stopped down!!!


But I digress...Maybe Bryan knows, since he is reviewing Nikon now(which by the way Bryan, is a fantastic way to add to your wonderful sight...always good to know the competition[])
