    2015 - Image of the Week #48

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images to compete for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly and finally in an annual poll for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."

    • There will be only one weekly winner.
    • This entry period for Week 48 will be from Monday November 23rd through/including Sunday November 29th.
    • Please supply a title for your image.
    • This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro and any other appropriate photographic style.
    • Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
    • Enter as many times as you would like.

This week will be judged by Dave Throgmartin
    Good luck!!

Nice image, Jamsus. Here is a challenge for you. Do you manage to convert it to B/W and still manage to keep the sense of autumn? The leaf is rather scared, and has two distinct colours, so it could be possible.

Thank you Lars, i will try but i don't know when i will be back at home to try that... maybe this Thursday.

What i like of this picture is that is taken in a wood without flash, just a sunbeam of light on it!

    Wooded Cathedral

Late October brings not only a canopy of color but also a carpet of matching leaves in Northern Oregon. What surprised me most at this site was that my 70-200mm f/4 IS L was the only lens I used, while my 17-40 f/4 L sat in my Think Tank bag the whole day. Happy shooting to all, Erno
