    Went out to look for eagles yesterday. Saw about 22, mostly juveniles. I wasn't really planning on shooting, so I only took my 70-200 with me. This is all I shot:

    I like the framing....giving the bird space to "fly into".

    The sky is so intensely blue, did you do something in post processing to achieve this?

    Nah, I had a B&W Kaseman circular polarizer on. Super bright day, so I wasn't too worried about shutter speeds.

    You shoot a lot with a 4000mm/5.6. Is this a typo, or do you have a 700mm lens?

    Conropl, I have the 400mm 5.6 lens, 500mm 4.0 and 1,4TC, 700mm 5.6 is a lazy typing for 500mm+1.4XTC, sorry for the confusing!
