Before some of you start traveling to be with family for the holidays, I just want to say Happy Holidays to everyone here at TDP and to your families!!

I have made so many close friends here and many of you know that I have been having a really rough time over the last few months with losing my job and Sammy's unexpected surgery. I would like to thank my dear friends for their morale support, it really has helped me get through each day!

And I would like to share with my friends here this morning that I just received the best gift ever a few hours ago!
I GOT A JOB!!!!!!! YIPPPEEEE!!!

I am now the Administrative Assistant - Probate Deputy for Racine County Circuit Court!!! It's not full-time but it opens the door to so many future opportunities and it's more than I was making yesterday ...LOL!!

Sometimes the best gifts don't come in a box with a big bow on them!!

Massive congratulations. I may not be the biggest contributor here, but I read alot, and having had the similar happen to me this summer (incl. getting a contractor role afterwards - now extended) I feel I should congratulate you.

Best thing with this position is they are still letting me test later in the week for full-time position in their accounting department, so who knows ...maybe it will turn into full time real soon!
