50D LCD black vertical line

Oh heck


My 50D has developed a fine black vertical line about 5% in from the Left hand side has anyone any ideas about removing it.


Its [just] in warranty so hopefully I should be covered, does anyone have experience of the UK approved repair centre

Not to take away from the OP's suffering, but that was funny.


On the original subject, Canon's repair centers are generally highly regarded. I wouldn't hesitate to send my camera or lens into a Canon authorized facility.
