Is this deal already over? I don't see the discount here http://promotions.newegg.com/NEemail...x-landing.aspx. Just signed up for the email alerts though, crap. I really want that 17-55! I even have a $50 gift card to Newegg from buying something awhile ago.

I guess the code only works on certain accounts, and it didn't work on mine. I had a few friends check their accounts and it worked on my friend's account. Had him order it and ship it to another friend who is home in the US for Christmas, so I should get the lens when he comes back to Sweden in about 10 days! Can't wait to get to use the 17-55! Thanks a ton for posting this, saved me over $200 as I was 90% sure I was going to order this anyways this week to have my friend bring back, because this stuff is a LOT more expensive in Sweden!
