Something New, Something Odd
Just finished this up. Interested in your thoughts. I'm not an "artist" nor do I try to be (I actually really can't stand the people that have to analyze every piece of work to discover the creator's emotions and all that. I tend to create just for the heck of it. But whatever). But if I had to had to had to pick a 'theme' for this, it'd be "imperfection". I just kind of like the grungy look and feel. The different exposures and whatnot. They do something for me. Maybe I'm just weird. haha.
Anyways, I spent my night doing this instead of finishing up a senior portrait edit session haha.
The details: (if you so desire)
-18 different RAW exposures
-Run through Adobe Lightroom 2 (edited as RAW and exported as JPEG)
-All given the same editing parameters in LR2 (different native exposures caused the differing end exposures)
-Arranged in Adobe Photoshop CS4 as smart objects.
-Finalized (cropped, touched up, etc) in CS4 as well
Thanks for looking,
Rodger

Certainly like that! Maybe tidy it up so its in a full white background instead of the different pieces put together? Then again, that maybe part of the effect you wanted!

Thanks for the input!
I was just throwing this out there for any response haha. I'll have to go back and try an all white background.

Cleaned up a bit

At first I thought an all white version would look wierd. But I actually prefer the all white one now. Great set of shots!

Actually, I like the first one better. It adds to the look and feel.

Rodger, that looks great. I'm not sure which version I prefer. I guess the first one since in this picture it become more clear that is consist out of multiple exposures. It definitely has that artistic feel to it ;-)
