I'm going to Punta Cana end of May. Wondering if anyone has been? I have concerns about bringing my gear. I've never travelled out of country with gear and the obvious concerns apply. I'd hate to get there and realize it was a mistake either way…should've brought it or should've left it home…any advice?
We were there last year, but I didn't bring my photo gear. I don't see why you'd have any issues though. My only concern would be securing all my gear at the hotel. We only had a small safe that would probably fit only a body and a couple lenses.
