    Have to find reasons to use this lens more!



    Playing around with my 35L after finally micro adjusting it to my 5dII.


    Av 1/320 f/1.4 400 ISO

    what is 100% crop and how do you do it?

    It is what the image would look like if you used the zoom tool and looked at it at 100% in an image viewer.


    To achieve this, I set my rulers to pixels in Photoshop. Then with the crop tool I click and drag until it is 800px wide by whatever high. Do a Save As... so you don't over write the original. I do this because I know this site doesn't support anything larger than 800px. Therefore it will be perfectly represented at 100% once I post it.

    That's beautiful! It almost looks like a macro-photo. I noticed that a few weeks ago when I was shooting in a small forest, sometimes, the small creatures in our world are very interesting(So I'm still saving money to get the 100 L IS Macro).
