It won't be long until I'll have bought a car and won't experience something again. Something that's been a part of my life for quite some time now: commuting by train.

To "commemorate" it I'm trying to collate my favourite railway/station based images into a small album.

    Here it is so far:

Please let me know what you think.

    Stay on the train.
    The environment needs you.
    We need you.
    To stay on the train.
Great series of shots, intimate, touching and emotional.
    Nice work, Darren.

    As I said on G+:

I wish it was possible, Steve. My wallet would rather I stayed on the train too, but we have to move out of the City Centre, making public transport less viable.

Thanks for the compliment though, I'll find something else to shoot ;-)

Wow, some great shots here. Ham, your images and galleries are fantastic. I live just outside of Washington, DC and spent over 30 years working in the city. I love to head into the city looking for non-traditional shots of the people in the city. I have an intermittent project to show images of it here.

And here are a couple of favorites.

    Tale of two cities

Always interesting in front of the White House.

Hi, those are two great street photos. I especially like the first one - great framing and post-processing.

ham, great stuff! Are we going to see your landscape pictures soon when you get the car? Whatever it is, do share please.
Larry, you should post more in here.

Many car images I have seen here were shot with wide angel lenses, but sun was setting and the fastest lens I ha around was 85mm. Plus I wanted to try it out. This guy and his track happened to be around:

Today at Leicester Square, London. You can't take a candid here without seeing a cell phone.
