Hey everyone. Right now you can buy the 70-200 f2.8 IS II on Amazon for $2199.00. Then there is a $300 Mail-in rebate going on right now until January 4th through Canon:

I just ordered one through Amazon from "Samy's Camera" for $2199.00 and then I didn't have to pay tax too! Now they are sold out through Samy's, but as of right now still available sold directly from Amazon for the same price, but you may have to pay tax depending on your state.

Currently 1999 direct from amazon. This does not include the 300 mail in rebate, which is still valid. So 1699 in total, but you have to pay tax.
