    Is this a bad sign?



    I imported some photos to lightroom and a few look like this, any idea what is going on?

    I would say that it's definitely not a good sign.


    Do they look the same in DPP or any other software.

    Were your subjects futuristic cyborgs? If so, then I think you're fine. If not, verify that the problem lies with that specific memory card. Try another memory card in your camera and see what happens.

    It doesn't look good, you should try to see if you can view the images on that card in the camera.


    Sorry to hear about your troubles, I hope that you didn't loose valuable images.


    Whatever you do, don't reformat the card until you figure out what the problem is.


    If all hope is eventually lost, then you could always just say that it was photoshopped and call it a wrap! []

    I had something kind of similar happen to me; I uploaded the pictures to my desktop, and they looked fine. Then, I copied and pasted them onto a flash drive so I could see them on the laptop, but they got messed up in the process. Apparently, the copy-paste feature on windows (im using XP) doesn

    Unfortunately things like that can happen with memory cards or flash drives when they aren't properly ejected before unplugging them from the USB port.

    Not to unsuspect the memory card, but my hard drive has made pictures look like that.
