    HDR Post Processing Problems

I am having problems with post processing HDR images using photomatix pro relating to trees. I have seen many photos without artifacts due to inevitable tree/plant movement and have always wondered how on earth these are eliminated! In my photos I have wonderful tree branches surrounded by grey portions of the tree branches in different positions.

Hey good question i have the same problem with photomatix as well but i believe there are some cameras that are able to shoot multiple exposures at different incrememnts at once on higher end cameras. What kind of camera are you making pictures with. i Have a rebel XT and it does not have that function.

jkool - Did you enable the attempt to reduce ghosting artifacts in photomatix?

mpphoto12 - On the Rebel XT, there's a setting called AEB (Auto Exposure Bracketing) that will allow you to shoot 3 different exposures.

Sometimes, you may have to eliminate one of the photos. This can help the artifact problem, but not always.
