This was the best I could do for a bee that is buzzing its wings as fast as it could (lots of fast movement). The bee was about10 meters away from the camera when I shot it.

Re: Bee Waves
LOL, I like the waves pattern. The bee is so blur, but for a 10m away from the camera, it looks great.

Re: Bee Waves
Nice, you can see the interference patterns from the waves from each wing!

Re: Bee Waves
Nice! I really like the waves...poor bee though!

Re: Bee Waves
I like the ripple, poor bee! Tittle should be "To Bee or Not To Bee"

Re: Bee Waves
Sinh: that is hilarious!
And Kyle: You rescued the bee right?

Re: Bee Waves
Unjx,
I wish I could have saved the bee but it was about 30 feet (10 meters) out and I had no way of reaching it.[:S]
At least the bee lives on through his picture. The power of the bee's wings is pretty amazing and thecycle rate of the wings flapping is very high. I feel good that I was able to capture this shot with all of the ultra fast movement that was caused by the bee buzzing.

Re: Bee Waves
You could have used a higher ISO....I would love to see it cropped tighter, but I suppose it will just enhance the blur.
