    Tim,


    This is absolutely a special shot! I love the lighting and exposure too.


    I really, really, love it!


    The only suggestion that I have would be to crop approx. 2 inches off of the top and about 1 inch off of the right side, in order to put the moon a little higher and more towards the right upper portion of the frame and a little bit less centered (even though it's not totally centered now). This will still preserve all of the cool clouds on the left.

    Thanks, Denise and Richard.


    Richard, I tried a couple other ways of cropping it but wasn't really pleased with the outcome. I tried the rule of thirds placing it at the upper right intersecting lines which is what you're describing. That was too much IMHO. I didn't want to crop away too much from the original picture, but enough to give the Moon a descent image scale within the FOV.
