BTW, are you sure it's EF mount not FD mount?

I'm not sure that I would get it for this price...[] But $1400 would be truly in budget! You would have to pay customs and taxes to get it in the USA, I can get it without any fees...[:P]


Sure, it is EF mount. FD mount had no USM, and, of course, I saw the pictures and specifications...


The owner announced, that this lens in this shape is good for €3300 ($4400). But that would be out of budget and not acceptable for f/1:4.5 and non-IS.

Oh, I didn't pay attention that was an auction. yes, for about $1000 more, you can get a used IS version. people sometimes are crazy when bidding....... but for about $4000 for that lens I think it's still not too bad IMO
