I just got my pre-owned Canon 70-210mm f/3.5-4.5 USM in the mail the other day. This is my second copy because my first copy eventually had its aperture blades begin to stick and refuse to stop down.

The copy is flawless, except for the fact that the focus ring is unusually, but only sticky after autofocusing the lens.

If the lens is off the body, its fine. If I move the focus switch to manual, its fine. But if I autofocus it, and then go to override the AF, it will be very stuff and difficult to use (almost impossible with two fingers, and its a tiny focus ring) until it has been turned from infinity to MFD a few times.

My other copy didn't do this at all. I wouldn't expect it to be as silky smooth as my 17-55 (or an L for that matter), but I'd at least like it to be usable. I really love FTM.

Thanks,
~Matt
