Re: Swirls & Twirls
Very nice indeed. The top one is a bit overexposed IMO though.

Nice! Especially the first one. Looks sharp at 1/50 while hand-held. The out of focus background on the second one is just as great! What is it anyway? A tree's brunch, a bush?

@ Oren: Thank you very much for your comment.
@ Vlad Xp: Thank you for your comments. The photos are vines from a vegetable plant. I just don't know what kind of vegetable it is.
I'm on my way in choosing a macro lens and I have been reading about the Canon lenses for quite sometime. Still reading over and over the reviews of each lens and I'm still not closer into choosing one. I am inclined to taking close-upsand macros and would like to have a little flexibility when I want to take a photoof that bird in our garden without scaring it.
Any suggestions?

I'm jealous of you guys who live near mountains. The prairies leave so much to be desired!

Electrolyte13, thank you very much for your critique. Don't worry, no offense taken. Actually, I think it's a good idea and my real purpose for showing it is for me to learn more. Thanks again!
