Canon has a deal for anyone wishing to pre-order a 7D mark II alone as in a kit. Find the form here (via Henry's).
Basically, you can get a free jacket (no description given), Mens or Ladies, XS, S, M, L, XL.
Plus, you have the option of purchasing a 24-70 f/4L IS USM for $399. They claim that's $920 off, but I see them for $1099 in most stores, so that's $700 off, or close to $800 after tax. If you were considering this lens, it's not a bad deal. If you know someone considering the lens and you're considering the body, perhaps you can each save $400.
*BUT* If you take advantage of this offer, you waive the right to return / exchange it. I can understand return. Perhaps by exchange they meant "for something else", rather than "it's broken, gimme a new one", but typically the least pleasant interpretation of terms is the correct one. Maybe it's because you need to deface your box to claim the deal.
*ALSO BUT* They say you have to complete the sale and send in your proof of purchase "within 30 days of notification". They don't say what this notification is, but I would imagine they'll email your as November 15th approaches. If the camera is back-ordered for a while, you may not get your camera within 30 days of November 15th.
edit: Henry's website (not on the form), claims that you'll get $228 off as part of the gift pack. Perhaps the $700 on the lens and $220 on the body is the $920 savings. Nice how clear they made everything.
