C&C on Flash Experiment
Hello everyone! I just would like to get some C&Cs on this very crude experiment of mine. I've been meaning to but myself a speedlite soon but due to some circumstances I just can't yet at the moment. I've considered getting some third-party flash but said to myself why invest when I can get the best from our brand - Canon.
Anyway, on with my experiment. I was fiddling around with some scrap cardboard and thought of myself building some sort of a speedlite. I thought of funneling the flash from the built-in pop-up flash and have some sort of bounce flash effect.
So, here's the result:
It's all pop-up flash.. but it's time to get a speedlite!
Thank you in advance.

Re: C&C on Flash Experiment
For a photo with nothing but on board flash, I think it's fantastic MrGreenBug. I especially like how the subject's left side forehead is completely blacked out. I always like that look in a portrait. Some of the highlights on the subjects right cheak and nose may be a little harsh, but it gives it a gritty look, especially with the darkness of the shadows. It would be neat to show us a photo of your setup too, if you get a chance.

Thanks Lewis & Sean for the wonderful comments!
I'll try to recreate the setup when I get some free time from work and show it to you guys. It's avery crude setup. I guess it would also be a good opportunity to do more experiments when I recreate the setup. []
