Unusual Black Spot

Over the weekend, this dog intrigued me with its black spot on its tongue. I'm not really sure what breed it is but I think (atleast for me) it's not common for it's breed to have the spot it has on its tongue.

Unless the dog just had some blueberies, it's a patch of pigmented mucosa, just like a freckle on the skin. Most of his lips and nose are also pigmented. As far as what breed he/she is... not sure, most likely mixed.
