Wow! That lens is incredible. Totally beats the original TS-E 24 in terms of optical performance!

    Looks awesome, too []

TS lens are just so weird and fun, and like most I wish I could afford one just to play around with it. But after spending all my hard earned cash on a 70-200 2.8 IS, I'm poor for a bit

Bryan, you have an awesome review. I like yours better than the DPR's one (http://www.dpreview.com/lensreviews/canon_24_3p5_tse_c10/) since yours has CA/IQ/flare comparison between I/II and other WA's. Once I receive my order, I hope I can find some useful info to share.

Meanwhile, for those who like to know more about tilt/swing in practice:

Very practical information on tilt/swing in general.

Is just me or this lens is MUCH sharper than the others in comparison?

    Bryan,

Well done.Love the bee. After seeing your IQ comparison it looks like the MSRP is well justified.

I lookedtwiceand the only omission I could find would be distortion reporting. When looking at a wide prime for architectural use distortion is very important. Excuse me if I missed something about it in your report.

We had a thread discussion about taking photos of models, dioramas and props. This, obviously, would bea suberb lensfor that application. Unfortunately, the OP's on a very tight budget.

Does anyone know what or which TS-E lens Vincent Laforet uses for his unusal landscapes/surfscape? i.e. Turns life size airport into a diorama.

I've been eyeing TS-E lenses for around 9 months now. I just did a night shot of a house for a local builder with the optimistic hope of doing more work for him. I'll have to see how things work out before I take the plunge and invest in a TS-E.
