Why? Cuz the P&S's have a higher MP? Yet crappier lens?
Well mostly because the G10 was 14 MP. I understand, but some folks might be baffled.
I agree, I wasnt' surprised that it
didn't go up, but I was surpised it when down by as much as it did. The G10 is a bit noisy over ISO 200, so I assume this will counter that.
What about the price? Did that drop too?
I'm happy because this timeCanon is actually interested more in image quality than marketing.
And hopefully the market they're shooting for understands that, instead of looking purely at simple things as higher MP, etc.
My first "Prosumer" was a G2 and I still have that baby, it was a great line owned them. And I assume they're still great these days.

I'm glad the articulating LCD is back. Hopefully they'll reintroduce the PowerShot Pro series.
