5D mark ll and Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 EX DG IF HSM

Does anybody know if this lens combination works? I have read about it, but not sure if they are talking FF or crop. My friend has it for his 20d and swears by it. If it works on a full frame, I would be in the market for one. Pictures and comments, please....thank you

The Sigma 12-24 EX DG Lens is a full frame lens - it should work fine on your 5D II. I've had one for a long time, but just haven't had time to review it yet.

Hey Bryan...thanks for taking the time to do reviews, your website, and now this forum. where do you find the time? I assume that all the girls you take pics of are yours, so how do manage all of this??? Would getting the 17-40 be a better option(not as wide as the 12-24), quality wise, or are they pretty equal. I think that DOF will be pretty equal between the two? Thanks again...

Other than to test that the 12-24 worked, I have not had a chance to use it. 12mm is much wider than 17mm - that I can tell you. If you do not need to go wider than 17mm, the 17-40 L is a very good choice. It is a good value.

And yes, the girls are mine. The time? Well, I guess I invest all of mine into the site (and the girls of course). R&R is something I need to learn to do more of.
