How on earth did you get on that one? I always got stuck weeding the rose beds at US-20 and Grandview.

Don't think I qualify for this since I'm judging but I wanted to post this.

    Daniel,

They have a new setup called "Student Ambassadors" and they set it all up. It consists of 6 (I think) students and because they like me (well maybe it was random) I got to do that.

    Keith B,

That is an awesome shot! Where was it taken. I would love to shoot from the pits of a Grand Prix some time. My dad was given the opportunity once by a Canon rep that visited the camera shop he worked at in College but graduation or some large event like that was the same weekend so he didn't take it.

    Deva,

Love the shot of that motor cycle also. I would be just as amused to be given the opportunity to shoot in spot like that (although I would prefer cars :P ).

i think cars are less dynamic than motorcycles. they are always in same position, you can't see the driver most of the time, no risky situation, less interesting to me.

sorry if I'm going offtopic, bet here is a spot you can see bike in the air, how often do you see that on car races? only on World Rally Championship.

    Thanks Samuel!

It was taken at Daytona Speedway in October during the Biketoberfest Endurance races. I was doing some work for a biker mag so I had a press pass.
