    Joel, You make the most common birds look like works of art----Excellent as usual---stop, no, thats not true---there is a line just to the right of the bird----ooops, thats just a smudge on my monitor---I was right the first time.

    Thanks Bob for the kind words, I too am amazed at the beauty of little song birds when I get to see a close up detailed image.

    I went for a walk down the river this afternoon to test out my new Samyang 35/1.4 vs 15-85, took my 70-300L along for the ride, then ended up taking more shots of these Rainbow Lorikeets.


    Finally nailed one as good as Steve's a few pages back, 70-300L, f/6.3, 1/250, CPL, and setting-sun straight behind me, just on the border of the sweet yellow-light...

    This is a shot from yesterday, it was unfortunately underexposed enough that I could not get great detail in the feathers so I tried some filters and came up with this
