    Thanks Denise, I like this pose as well because it's a little different for a woodpecker.

    I am still sorting images from my visit to NM with Bob williams (I know, I am slow) ...here is one I processed this morning.

    Oh man, that's a whole other story than the urban wildlife that a beginner like me finds around the corner in a fountain.

    This was the scene out by my bird feeder just a few minutes ago. I boosted reds and blues and dropped the other colors to make the birds stand out. I think I have half the cardinal population of IL right here in my yard.

    Thanks! It's alot different than what I get around my place too.....had to travel from KY to NM for this shot! (Thanks to Bob Williams)
