thanks Joel for the compliment!, didn't really pay attention on this little bird, too many birds there, till it's plumage get up, sure looked more attractive even to me!

I really like the picture of the Herring. With his mouth opened it's like he's saying, "Oh Sh$#".

But in all seriousnous, the Snowy Egret is great. I remember trying to shoot these in Louisiana. They are tough to shoot and retain feather details against the dark green backgrounds. Great shot!

Joel, what is the background on that shot? it looks strange to me.

It is blue sky altered with Nik Color Efex pro, I was going for a surreal look trying to make the sky and water melt together.
