    Made another attempt at HB's late this afternoon and was able to come away with one pretty good image

    4 430EXII flashes set at manual 1/16 power triggered with pocket wizards
    Manual mode

    Did you notice the shadow of the lower sprig on your background?

    I have been trying to get a shot of one of these for a couple of years now.

    Here are a few different looks of a couple Green Herons I shot while kayaking last Sunday, or at least that is what I think they are. I have miss ID'ed a Bitten as a Green Heron on this site before... so if I am wrong, then please correct me.

    EF 100-400mm L, @400mm, ISO 400, 1/1000 sec, f/8 (anything below f/7.1 on this lens can get a little soft).
