I went for a walk with the boys and caught some interesting BIF pictures. I forgot to switch my camera to AI Servo so it was AI Focus for these. Not too many great captures, but the boys sure had fun looking at all of the birds.

Jonathan, I really like your nutcracker. Its always funny to catch them eating. Each one is different.

    Vern, nice looking chickadee!

Joel, the background on your dove is definitely interesting. Give a paintery feel. I for one have not seen an Indigo Bunting in my life. That is a very cool looking bird! Sad that I probably won't see one in real life.

Mark, amazing detail in that robin with all of the extenders stacked. I can't get anything even close to that sharp with my two. ISO on that 6D looks very nice!

Jason - Nice shots... and I was wondering the same thing that Joel asked: What is that on the top of the bill?

Interesting, I wonder if Brown Pelicans do the same thing. Thanks for the link!

Thanks guys! Mark, thanks for the link. That was the first place I looked when I got home and noticed the bumps. I thought they were some kind of calcium deposites like giraffes get on their heads from fighting.
