A few other pics from the day's outing. The Heron and Wood Duck are similarly focal length limited as the owls were, which is why I didn't upload them the first time... They weren't worth one of my precious 200 flickr slots. Seeing as how that's no longer an issue, I can share some less than ideal shots. I didn't even *try* to take a picture of the beaver swimming past the heron. It's a pretty busy little pond.
I realize the gosling shots would benefit from laying down on the ground, but no. It was muddy and I was carrying two cameras and a spare lens. I'll leave those shots to people with vari-angle screens or some sort of gosling related income. That's got to be pretty niche, and I wouldn't want to cut into your sales.
