I shot my cuff link last night. I was testing out the use of my Kenko 1.4x Teleconverter coupled with the Kenko extension tubes using my 70-200mm f/2.8L IS for macro work. It was a bit odd finding the right balance of zoom, focus, and subject distance ratio, but with a little work it was fine. The 1.4x tele didn't seem to affect image quality as much as I thought it might.

Nice shots, Jayson! I was doing a great deal of spring yard clean-up the other day and came across many bugs, worms & spiders but I had to stay focused on the job at hand and keep the camera in the house! Your shots are making me wish I would have swayed from the yardwork and on to some fun macro shots!

That is great and exciting news. My question...how does Wisconsin have trees ready to bloom, while Nebraska is still stuck in the ice age. I only see one tree here that's anywhere close to that.

LOL! They are predicting we will be having temps well into the 70's for the next few weeks and that spring is here to stay! But last year on April 18th, this is a photo I took & the day before I took it, temps were in the 70's!

Great shots. We are having warm weather here, but no signs of life yet. I can't wait to get the Macro going especially since I got it adjusted for my camera with FoCal. Mushrooms should be coming soon along with blossoms and bugs.
