    I like bees... there is so much detail on them that you cannot see with the naked eye.

    Test Shots

    well I ordered a canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens a week ago and got it the other day, really excited about it!!!

    What I like about macro is how versatile the subjects can be. I enjoy a nice scenic landscape type image, but there are not a lot of opportunities within a 1 1/2 hour drive. The ones there are I've gone to several times.

    There's a great garden 20 minutes from my house that changes as the season progresses. I can go one week and the next week and get shots that are quite different. It's hard to do that with general subject photography.
