10d used hellpp? error 99?

im gonna buy a used 10d from ebay for kicks.... a working one goes for about 250$ buy it now... i found one that is used and comes with two decent lenses that are new and a flash and battery grip... wow! but it says after the picture is taken it says error99 and freezes... i have seen this error on other canons on this site and i was wondering if i bought it i could somehow fix this problem???? thanks

Err99 is Canon's catch-all error. It can be anything from lens contacts, the battery grip not connecting all the way. Sending to Canon would cost you at least $180 for a repair. If the lenses and flash are good, I would buy for those and not the body.

Like Ehcalum said, Error 99 is a catch-all error. Save the $250 for something else. Canon will charge you $180 to take a look at it.
